Terms of Use

Effective 3 November 2026 · Applies to the Chill Tiles iOS app and this website (chilltiles.app).

By downloading, accessing, or using Chill Tiles or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.

1. The app

Chill Tiles is a puzzle game for Apple devices distributed through the App Store. Features may include Calm play, optional Challenges, themes, badges, XP / leveling, audio, Game Center, and a Premium upgrade.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice, including for maintenance, legal, or technical reasons.

2. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement

Your use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), available at:

If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA for App Store distribution, the Standard EULA controls for matters it covers. These Terms add game-specific rules and cover this website.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not offered in Apple’s Kids Category. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Chill Tiles for personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app except as allowed by law.

5. Accounts and Game Center

Chill Tiles does not require its own account. Optional Game Center sign-in is provided by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms. You are responsible for activity under your Game Center identity on your devices.

6. Virtual content and Premium

Themes, badges, XP, playlist order, and similar content are licensed digital features, not real-world property. They have no cash value and may change.

Premium is a non-consumable In-App Purchase sold by Apple. Pricing is shown in the App Store at checkout. Purchases are billed by Apple and subject to Apple’s refund and purchase policies. Restoring purchases uses Apple’s mechanisms on your Apple ID.

Unless required by law or Apple’s policies, Premium fees are non-refundable after purchase. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact Apple Support first for App Store refunds; you may also email support@chilltiles.app.

7. Ads

The free experience may include interstitial ads. Premium removes those ads. Ad content is provided by third parties; we do not control every creative served.

Chill Tiles, including its name, art, audio, code, and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. Fonts used in the app and on this site (Fraunces and Sora) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Third-party content (including ads and Game Center materials) remains owned by its respective owners.

10. Website

This website provides information about the app. Content is offered “as is” and may be incomplete or out of date. Links to the App Store and other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party sites.

11. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app or site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim (if any) and (b) USD $50. Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. By using the app or site, you acknowledge that policy.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The Effective date will change when we do. If you continue using the app or site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and site.
